What are my IMEI and MEP codes?

Getting your IMEI code is really simple just type this number on your phone:*#06# and send, You will get a 15-digit number, which will be your IMEI code. You need this number to Unlock your phone.

Getting your MEP code is a little more complicated, but also you won't need any program or software to get it. First go to the home of your phone and press ALT+SHIFT+H , the help me screen will open, where yuo can also find you IMEI code and many of your phone info.Well, second you will need something to write or type the following information and then type it in the following web page: http://www.unlockberry.co.uk/server.php?action=bbeng

*Device PIN !The letters that you type should be in lower case!

*App Version [5.0.0.456 (3271)] ! There is a space before opening parenthesis.!

*Uptime !Very important to don't move away from the screen because it will change and the code will have to be created again!

In the web page you will have to click on the tab called "BB Escreen KeyGen" to type and generate your code.After you get the code you just generated, go back to your phone and type it without closing the Help Me screen. ! Never close that screen or you will have to generate the code again!. After you typed the code, the engineering screen will open. Finally, to find the MEP code go to OS Engineering Screens - Device Info - Scroll down until you Find your MEP Code.[MEP-12345-123]

How to Unlock my Blackberry ?

After you got your Unlocking Code, you will have to type it into your phone to unlock it. Use the following steps to do it:
!Sometimes when you restart your phone without the SimCard inserted or with a different carrier SimCard, the phone will automatically prompt you to insert the MEP2 code which is your Unlock Code (15 Digits) !
Make sure to remove the SimCard and turn all connections off.

Let's start with these simple method. Go to Menu - Options - Advanced Options - Scroll Down to SIM card (It might say "No Valid SimCard") - Type mepd on the SIM card screen (The network will be Active which means it is Locked) - On the same screen type mep2 - Finally, It will ask you to enter your code, if you have less or equal to 3 attempts left please try unlocking it with an expert or with your carrier provider.
When you are done, turn off your phone, insert your SimCard, and turn on your phone to start using it.

Now your phone in Unlocked and you can use it with any other carrier.
